Saskatchewan Is Recognizing Indigenous Economic Development Day

It is Economic Development Week in Saskatchewan and Indigenous Economic Day will also be celebrated across the province.

 

Matt Smith who is the Executive Director of Indigenous Economic Development discusses the importance of this day. " The intention of Indigenous Economic Development Day is to celebrate and acknowledge the contributions that Indigenous businesses and people are making to the growth of the  Province's economy. The strength  and diversity they bring to ensuring all people in Saskatchewan continue to experience a high quality of life,  and remains a great place to live."

 

The government of Saskatchewan is proud to promote collaboration and partnership between Indigenous and non Indigenous  businesses  to recognize the importance of economic development in building a robust economy.
