Construction continues at the new Aqua Centre location and since March, crews have formed, poured and leveled a heap of concrete and the building is really starting to take form.
Although construction has started fundraising for the Aqua Centre hasn’t stopped and they are still looking for the community’s help.
Flin Flon Rec Director Cait Bailey explains the different ways you can contribute. " There is lots of different options and we are coming out with a catalogue so you will be able to visually see , rather than just donating to the project itself, which is always welcome. You will be able to help us by choosing something that means something to you, maybe something that your business is interested in having their name on. That could be things from Safety CPR, new Floaty's, if you are looking for something to be a little more fun. This is a great way to kind of get involved and be part of the process before we open to the public."
The catalogue will be published in the next few weeks and you will be able to view it on the City’s website as well as the Rec and City facebook pages.
