The Flin Flon Lions Club will be holding their second annual Walk For Dog Guides in May. This is part of a national campaign so that every Canadian who requires a dog guide can have one free of charge.
One of the local organizers Jan Nichol invites the community to come out and take part. " Everyone should come out, it is going to be a great day as we are having a dog walk at 11, a dog show at noon. There will be a pet themed garage sale going on, and there will be water for the handlers and dogs and dog treats. We want everyone to come out and celebrate with the Flin Flon Lions Club."
Pledge sheets are available at Northern Rainbows End and prizes will be awarded to people who raise the most money. It all takes place on Sunday May the 25th at the Flinty’s Boardwalk.
