The 49th annual Northern Juried Arts Show will start later today in Flin Flon and the Norva Centre’s Megan Dupas looks forward to show casing all the art work submitted from around Northern Manitoba.
" We are almost finished hanging all the art work in the Flin Flon Community Hall's Auditorium. The show is looking fantastick and I am really excited to get to share it with the people of Flin Flon, Creighton and Denare Beach. There is some major talent in the North and we are having the opening reception tonight at 7:30 and doors will open at 7pm. It is free to come see the show and the awards ceremony will start at 7:30."
The show is open to the public on Friday from noon to 7pm and Saturday from 10am to 4pm at the Flin Flon Community Hall. There are also extra activities that will be taking place including a presentation for artists who can get their own website to sell their artwork online. There will also be a free kids drawing class on Saturday afternoon for ages 9 to 17. Register at njasflinflon@gmail.com.
