We are headed to one of the most anticipated and important federal elections in the history of our country, when Canadians will head to the polls April the 28th.
The candidates have been determined for our riding of Churchill Keewatinook Aski.
They include Incumbent Niki Ashton for the NDP, Rebecca Chartrand Liberal, Lachlan Denardi Conservative and Dylan Young the People’s Party Of Canada.
Niki Ashton won her fourth term as MP for the riding in 2021, winning 42.6 per cent of the vote. Ashton has represented the riding since 2008.
The riding includes all of Northern Manitoba, including Churchill, Thompson, Flin Flon, The Pas, and multiple First Nations.
Advance polling stations are open til April the 26th and the advanced polling station in Flin Flon is located at 125 Main street and is open Monday to Friday 9am to 9pm, Saturday 9am to 6pm and Sunday 9am to 4pm.
