The Norva Centre has youth events on for Spring Break. Happening today is an opportunity to create a personal piece of art to take with you or share with others.
Local artist Danita Stallard let's us know what's planned. " Basically the whole idea is making a Pinback Button Badge to wear your own art on your own clothes or backpack. It is somethbg extra special to have your own art and wear it. We are going to get together and everyone will get to make 10 special buttons and I will be bringing some of my own button art so we can swap at the end of the hour."
There are two sessions today, one for ages 8 to 12 from 1 to 2 pm and 13 to 17 from 2:30 to 3:30. Cost is $20.00 and you can register by calling 687-4237.
