The Flin Flon Rotary Club is celebrating a huge milestone as they have been an active club in Flin Flon and area for the last 90 years.

 

Rotarian Tim Spencer invites the entire community to celebrate this milestone. 

 

" It is a big thing 90 years,  you know when it was 88 years we wern't even thinking about it, and then about a year ago we thought you know 90 years is significant. It's not quite a 100, but 90 is something and we thought we  better mark it with something. What we decided is that we can't talk about everything that Rotary has been involved with in over 90 years in one week. We thought we would celebrate 90 all year long and this week is the kickoff having Rotary Radio Week on CFAR."

 

The Rotary Club will have a busy year that will include all their regular projects like their Pancake Breakfast on Canada Day, they will be involved with the Grad Ceremonies, Dream Draws, and they will be sending a student out for the Rotary Student  Exchange Program plus welcoming one into the community.

 

They will also be planning some other events to celebrate their 90 years in the community and will be posting information on the Flin Flon Rotary Facebook page and updates can also be heard on 102.9 CFAR.
