The City Of Flin Flon has expanded the Store Front Improvement Grant to all businesses within the Flin Flon City limits.

City Councillor Mike Slipp shares the details. " We decided a year ago that we were going to offer a grant to uptown businesses to improve their store fronts. It is a matching grant where we would pay fifty percent up to ten thousand dollars. So if you wanted to spend $500.00, we would put in $500.00, if you wanted to put $10,000.00 in we would put in $10,000.00 in to it. What we have done is expanded it city wide , so any small or medium sized business can apply for this grant and improve their store fronts. There are things like murals, permanent banners, sculptures or anything they could put up to make their businesses look better and revitalize  our community."
