The Trout Festival held their monthly meeting on Tuesday at the Creighton Recreation Tourism Office.
The Trout Festival has applied for a few different grants including Canada Gaming and Liquor Community Festival, a grant for a Candy Floss Machine and they will also apply for a Flin Flon Credit Union Grant for staging.
Planning has begun for a number of this year’s events including the Fishing Derby, Fish Fry, Midway, Skateboard Demo and Disc Golf Event and the Community Kickoff Barbecue.
On going planning continues for Canada Day, Beaver Lake Day and Dave Koop and Greg East have indicated they will run the Canoe Races on Ross Lake.
They are now known as the Trout Festival Association and will continue to update people on all the happenings on their different Social Media pages.
The next meeting is planned for April the 29th at 10:45 am at the Creighton Rec Office.
