The City announced some exciting news about their Store Front Improvement Grant at their meeting on Tuesday night.
The City will be expanding the Store Front Improvement Grant to include all medium sized business’s in Flin Flon City limits, not just downtown for a maximum of $10,000.00. More information is available on the City Of Flin Flon website.
An ice road has been built out to Camp Whitney to clear the debris from the fire last year as they start the process to clean it up and get it rebuilt.
The City has approved a small grant to Flin Flon Minor Hockey for $270.00 and will also give a grant for $1000.00 to the Northern Juried Art Show which will take place April the 10th to the 12th.
Work continues for the new lighting on Main street and these lights will be brighter and safer and will use more efficient led’s. They will also put up new lights at Rotary Park.
The City is also advertising to fill the position of the FDC Regional Economic Development Commission Officer as Emily Roberts Young has left the position to join the NRHA.
They hope to fill the position as A.S.A.P.
