Northern Manitoba Sector Council in collaboration with Frontier school in Cranberry will be hosting a Career Fair this Thursday between 1 and 7pm.
Alison Akert the Project Coordinator says this will be a great opportunity for training seekers, employees and apprentices right across the North.
" We are definately looking for a lot more trades, we have a lot of our youth that leave and don't come back. So we are definately lacking in those areas. and just jobs in general as there is so much out there. Our reason for doing it with Frontier School Division is they have an absolute phenominal set up there and it is great to show the kids all the options they have in the future. It doesn't have to mean University , there is a lot of trades, jobs for summer and we want the youth to see what the North has to offer."
Space is limited so if you would like to book a table you can contact Alison at aakert@nmscouncil.ca. There will be Opportunities for students, recent graduates and community members in the North.
