The Wahkohtowin Trails Committee held a meeting this past Tuesday at the Creighton Recreation and Tourism office and committee member Christine Williams says a lot of work continues to be done on their three active trails.  

" So we talked about the Phantom Trail that is almost at completion , we just have some landscaping that needs to happen, as there is a culvert that needs to be replaced. We have a bridge that we would like to build and install over a little section that gets quite wet,  and our story boards are ready to be installed after the snow melts. So we also talked about the Creighton Trail that we are creating in a partnership with the Town Of Creighton and we do have some temporary signage up." 

They have also entered into  a partnership with the Village Of Denare Beach where they had discussions with the Mayor and Council as well as the Fire Chief on creating a trail on the Peninsula in Denare Beach.
