FF Neighborhood Revitalization Held Their AGM

The Flin Flon Neighborhood Revitalization  Corporation held their AGM last night at the City Hall Board Room.

Lawrence Gillespie reported that they had a good year financially as for the first time in over 15 years the Province increased their operating grant, so they are on solid financial ground.

Gillespie went on to talk about some of the projects they have going on later this year.  " We are looking at possibly going into a community consultation process where we turn to the community and try to get a sense of what things they would like us to address over the next 5 years. We usually do this every 5 years or so where we get together with the community and draft a 5 year plan, as a result of what people tell us what to do. We hope to get that going this year provided we can get the funding in place."

They will also be changing things up with the Flowers On Main Street due to the City setting up new lamp posts, so they will have to find a different way to hang them or different options as to where they are placed.

The Board currently has 6 people on it including Mark Kolt- Chair and Directors including Raphael Saray, Keenan Sattleberger, Russell Rudd, Katie Keramydas and  Ariane Shairp . They are looking for a few more people to join the board and if you are interested you can contact Lawrence at 204-687- 6972 or reach out to their facebook page.
