Emily Roberts Young who is the Regional Economic Development Officer announced that she will be stepping down from her post to take a position with the NRHA.
Emily reflects on her past year with the position. " I really enjoyed what I did there was lots of pieces I really loved. I got to work with the community and a lot of different community groups and organizations with lots of engaged people . I really enjoyed working with the business community as a lot of the local business owners are really driven and want to see the whole community succeed, which is so positive. The main thing I enjoyed was so many people are invested and wanted to see growth and opportunity come."
Emily arrived in Flin Flon from Winnipeg over a year ago and was named the Regional Economic Development Officer in July and recently published a Regional Economic Study which can be seen on the City Of Flin Flon website and the City Of Flin Flon facebook page.
