Sask Polytech Is Offering Financial Support For Indigenous Students

Saskatchewan Polytechnic Education is offering financial support for Indigenous students in the mining, engineering technology and business diploma programs this fall.

Anita Cameron says they have been very successful in helping their students find jobs when they graduate. " 94 % of our Indigenous students who graduate are satisfied with their programs and 94 % of our Indigenous graduates find jobs after graduation. Indigenous education is a top priority at Sask Polytech and Indigenous students may face unique barriers to access post secondary education,  and waving application fees helps remove the financial barriers  from applying at Sask Polytech."

Indigenous students can apply to any of the Sask Polytech programs for free in Prince Albert, Saskatoon and Regina by this Friday. You can get more information at saskpolytech.ca/applyindegenous.
