International Women’s Day is this Saturday and the Wahkohtowin Trails Group have a special event planned that will give you a chance to enjoy a scenic journey.
The Committee’s Leslie Beck invites everyone to come out and take part. " We are pretty excited as we are teaming up with the City Of Flin Flon and the Victoria Inn , for a sunset evening snowshoe. We will head out on the trails behind the Victoria Inn heading towards Channing. We will meet, head out for a snowshoe and then head back to the Victoria Inn for Hot Chocolate and a glass of wine."
It starts at 6pm this Saturday night and everyone is to meet behind the Victoria Inn for the starting point. The Wahkohtowin Trails Committee will also be hosting their next meeting on Monday March the 11th starting at 7pm at the Creighton Recreation and Tourism office.
There will be updates on their financial situation, as well as how things are progressing with the Denare Beach Peninsula project and the make up date for their one year anniversary tour. Everyone is welcome.
