The Flin Flon Community Choir continues to prepare for their spring production of Annie which will hit the stage at the Flin Flon Community Hall on May the 8th to the 11th.
The Arts Council has brought in Gord Davis from Ontario to direct the show and Davis tells us how it all worked out for him to wind up in Flin Flon. " Angela Ishaka who is the Producer and Music Director of this particular show and I believe is the leader of the Community Choir. I taught her , she comes from Elmira and when they were looking for a Director she suggested me. She contacted me and I hadn't done anything for a while and I thought Flin Flon why not? Maybe this will be the last one and it was a good decision to make."
Davis comes to Flin Flon from one of the most high profile theatre programs in Ontario that he started in Elmira. He is also a graduate from the University of Western Ontario.
Tickets are $50.00 for adults and $25.00 for youth and can be picked up at the Uptown Emporium or on Showpass.
