The Flin Flon District Chamber Of Commerce will be holding their first general meeting of 2025 on Tuesday March the 18th at the Flin Flon Friendship Centre starting at noon.
New President Kory Eastman talks about the Chamber’s goals and vision for 2025 and beyond. " What we are looking for this year, we are still working on the formalized strategic plan , but we are looking to engage more. We are looking to engage more not only with our members but with the public. We want to hear their concerns and see if there is solutions there for the issues that are perceived on safety and security. We want to make sure all the stakeholders are heard not only from the Municipal level of government but the Provincial and National as well."
There will be updates on the Student Housing Project, Northern Manitoba Mining Academy, Health Care Training and more. Guest speakers will be Doug Lauvstad and Jamie Grant.
