The 46th annual Denare Beach Winter Festival will kick off three days of fun starting tomorrow.
The Denare Beach Rec Director, Mel Durette lets us know about all the events that will be taking place.
“Friday we’re going to start with the Musher Supper like always, and there will be the Penny Parade, Pizza Shoot, Kids Events, Turkey Curling, Trap Setting for Friday. Saturday will be Pancake Breakfast, Bingo this year will be at 11 o’clock...Fishing Derby will start from 2 to 4 we did push it further because it’s always colder in the morning, there’s a Crib Tournament at 4 o’clock, there’s also we’re bringing in Dog Sled Team to do Dog Sled rides for the kids from 2 to 5 at the Water Treatment Plant and then Sunday will be a Sliding Party from 1 to 3 for the kids”
Don’t forget that you will need to purchase a Winter Festival button to attend any of the events which you can pick up at the Alpine, Village office or the Denareplex. You will also be able to see a complete list of all the events on the Denare Beach Rec Board Facebook page.
