Cranberry Portages’s third annual Winterfest will officially start tomorrow and one of the organizers Carleen Wollman  tells us they have lots of events for the whole family.

" Yes we have lots of stuff for kids and families to do and we will start on Thursday with the Merchandise Bingo at 7pm at the Cranberry Legion that is hosted by our local daycare. On Friday we have Opening Ceremonies at 5 followed by the Rick Murray Memorial Singles Cribbage tournament and the Pearl Anderson Memorial Bonspiel and there is also a public skate going on as well. On Saturday we have the Elbow Lake Wilderness Lodge free pancake breakfast that starts at 9am. Following that we have our James Murray Memorial Doubles Cribbage tournament at 10,  and we also have our kids skill event that you do need to be registered for."
