Time is running out for you and your organization to apply for grants for the Northern Neighbors Foundation with the deadline coming up next week.
Shylo Rogers explains how the Northern Neighbors works and who should apply. " It supports all community projects, so if there is someone out there who is looking for a project, or has a project in mind, we strongly encourage them to apply for a grant this year. Again they only have until February the 15th and the exciting part this year is we have $193,000.00 to give away this year. That money only go's to the communities of Flin Flon, Creighton, Denare Beach, Cranberry and Snow Lake. "
In order to apply you are supposed to be a registered charity as it does require a charity number. There is a work around that if you don’t have a number. you can apply in partnership with a municipality who has a registered number, and then fill out a declaration on line and that will make you eligible to get granting.
