The countdown to Bust The Winter Blues is on with the festival now only a few weeks away and a lot of events for you and your family to enjoy.

Creighton Rec Director Lindsay Shirran tells us what will be happening on the Saskatchewan side. " We wil have our Disco Skate night where will have our Disco Lights on with Glow Sticks with music. On Saturday will be a Familly Fun Day at the Sportex, so there will be a free skate with free hotdogs and Hot Chocolate while supplies last. We will have our Celebrity Smooshing Contest, fishing booth, games, Turkey Curling, Snow Drag Races, sliding and a bonfire leading up to our fireworks at dusk over the Creighton Soccer Field."

Another fun event will be the Border Explorers Frozen Aces Snowmobile Poker Derby on Sunday  at the Creighton Sportex Lounge starting with registration at 10. $10.00 per hand or 3 for $20.00. There will be cash prizes and you can contact Dwayne for more information at 306-688-7159.
