There are lots of events coming up in our community to help celebrate the winter season including Bust The Winter Blues which will be taking place in both Flin Flon and Creighton.
Flin Flon Rec Director Cait Bailey tells us what they have planned so far. " We are looking forward to it again and we are keeping our fingers crossed for nice weather. This year we don't have to worry about a lack of snow, so we will be ready for that. We have some popular returning events including the Kinnettes Trivia Night, the Home Business Market, Border Explorers Poker Derby, Aloha Family Dance and fireworks. We are going to be doing a snowshoe event with the Trails Committee, the Flin Flon Ski Club is bringing back their Centaloppet. There is all sorts of great stuff taking place."
All the events will be listed on the Flin Flon and Creighton Recreation websites and facebook pages. Bust The Winter Blues takes place February 28th to March 2nd.
