We are just a few weeks away from the third annual Cranberry Portage Winterfest with events that will allow you to come out and celebrate winter.
There will be events for the kids, skill events, curling tournaments,a fishing derby and a Makers Market.
Barb Bragg is organizing the Makers Market which is a brand new event this year. " So it is a bit of test this year, so we have limited it to 20 vendors and it filled up almost immediately. We have a lot of our regulars from the Market who will be showing up to sell their artwork, their jewellery, honey, Ukrainian food as well as a couple of new people who are going to be with us. We are pretty excited about it beacause if this one works there is no telling how big it will get in the future. So take a break from winter and the snow and come out and buy some stuff."
Vendors are full but there is a waiting list and you can contact Barb to get on the list at 204-680-6003. The Market will run on Saturday Feb 22nd 11 to 3 at the Legion.
