We are nicely into 2025 and the Flin Flon Aqua Centre Fundraising Committee continue to find ways to raise money for the new Flin Flon Aqua Centre.

The Committee’s Karen Mackinnon tells us about the two fundraisers that are going on now.  " The one we just started is 4 items that have been donated by our Mayor George Fontaine. These are items that he created in his workshop including a big sled for pushing children. He donated a cribbage board, a beautiful trinket box and a bird that was made out of local wood. The other thing we are doing is a Escape Room coming up on February the 21st and 22nd, which will be a murder mystery. It will be a little different this time as we are looking at having food available and a liquor license."
