There is lots going on at the FF Public Library including lending out free Radon Test Kits and there is also a new library app to access lots of books online.
Lisa Slugoski has the details. " So the Radon test kits have been provided free to us by the Manitoba Lung Association, and Radon is the number one cause of lung cancer for non-smokers and second lkeading cause for smokers. They really want to push testing for Radon and what these detectors will do is they will give you a baseline reading for Radon in your home. From there you can decide to test for longer if you get a high reading. So the Lib Ap is free with your Library card and it provides members with access to over 56, 000 titles in both E-Book and Audio Book format. It automatically returns the books when they are done, and there are no late fees so it is a no brainer to download the Libby Ap today."
You will need a library card to access these kits and get the app and you can get more information by going to the FF Public Library Facebook page or their website at flinflonpubliclibrary.org.
