The annual Lions Journey For Sight Snowmobile fundraiser will leave Flin Flon today as it heads to other Manitoba communities down south.

Local Lion,  Andy Wasilciw mentions the different communities they will be stopping  in at. " We will prep and then head to The Pas and then over to Swan River. Once we hit Swan River some will head over to Roblin , Russell and some will head to the Dauphin area. On Saturday we will meet in Brandon and there is approximately 10 snow machines coming this way and some of my family will join them for part of the trip."

Once again they will be raising money for the Lions Eye Bank for Manitoba and Northwest Ontario. If you like you can head over to the Victoria Inn between 10 and 10:30 and  make a pledge,  and see the snowmobilers off.

Well over a million dollars has been raised in the 20 plus years of the fundraiser.
