New sessions of Read To Me have started at the Flin Flon Public Library with sessions happening every Friday morning and Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.
Lawrence Gillespie explains the program. " The whole focus of Read To Me is we are trying to make reading fun for pre-schoolers, and trying to equip parents and care givers with the tools that they need to make the whole reading experience more fun for their children. We meet three times a week in the library basement and it depends a lot on the children we have that what form the program takes. The library has the biggest toy collection in Flin Flon and it almost like a miniature Disneyland with all the toys we have there. We also do crafts, things with clay."
This is a free program open to all pre schoolers between 2 and 5. There are lots of spots available and you can sign the kids up and get more information by contacting Lawrence at 204-271-2890.
