The Flin Flon Recycling Centre wants to remind you what can and can’t be recycled over the Christmas break. We get the details from the Administrator Deb Odegaard. " So if people are recycling they should check the list to make sure what they want to recycle is on it. One of the thngs we find at Christmas time that people want to recycle that isn't is Christmas wrap, ribbons, bows and that sort of thing. Any styrofoam plastic bags, disposable dishes, all those kinds of things we can't recycle. The regular pop cans, glass bottles and jars , any kind of packaging including news papers and magazines are recycible. We encourage people to check our website and give us a call."
The Recycling Centre will be closed at noon on Christmas Eve and December the 31st and will be closed both Christmas day and New Years day. They will have regular hours every other day including Saturday and Sunday. The landfill will be closed at 1pm today and closed Christmas day and Boxing day and will close at 1pm New Years Eve and closed New Years day.
