You are invited out for a free Christmas dinner at the Lutheran church on Christmas Eve. It is being put on by the Lies family and Kristina talks about the inspiration behind this event.
" In about 2014,2015 my dad Lyle Borgstrom wanted to feed people. He worked at the food bank and could see that lots of people needed stuff and he wanted to host a dinner. So he came up with lots of different names for it, and I said let's not concentrate on that , let's just put it out at the food bank and community. This just isn't for people who need food, but for people who may be lonely at Christmas or don't have family around and just want to share some fellowship."
It takes place at the Lutheran Church in Flin Flon on Chistmas Eve between 4 and 6pm. It is open to anyone in the community and if you need a ride please let Kristina know at 204-271-4668.
