There is a big fundraiser for Northern Growing Abilities in Creighton this weekend with the annual Festival Of Trees at the Creighton Community Hall.

Deb Odegaard stopped by the CFAR studio earlier this week and tells us it will be a chance to pick up some great Christmas gifts.   " It is kind of like the last event before Christmas with a lot of vendors there, so some great Christmas gift ideas. It is the Festival Of Trees so we have donated trees, wreaths and centre pieces that creative people in the community have made. Everyone that comes gets to vote for their favorite in each category, plus your favorite in the entire  show." 

You can also bid on the different items and the highest bidder this Saturday at 3 will get to take the items home. There will also be a 50/50, Penny Parade, baking, crafts , concession and of course Santa will be there.

The hours are Friday 6-9pm and Saturday 10 to 4.
