Borealis and the Children’s Choir will be holding a traditional Christmas Carol service on behalf of the Lord’s Bounty Foodbank this Sunday.
Tim Spencer says it is a big tradition that they have been doing for a number of years and they look forward to performing again this year. " It is basically a traditional Christmas Carol service, Lessons in Carols. The lessons are Bible readings tracing the Christmas story and it all originated in Cambridge England about 80 years ago and is done all over the world. So there will be lots of carols and 9 readings and the congregation will get to sing 5 or 6 of them with the Choirs."
It takes place at the Lutheran Church in Flin Flon starting at 3:30 and you can offer a non perishable food item or cash donation towards the food bank. Tax receipts will be available for any donation of ten dollars or more.
