It was a very good first year for the Wahkohtowin Trails Committee who not only completed their first trail at Phantom Lake but were able to gets lots of financial support and volunteers.

Leslie Beck looks forward to the future. " It is pretty exciting because back in January the Chamber Of Commerce took us on as a committee that really set forth our ability to start raising money. We have had  lots of support from Rotary and local business's to put up a commemorative   plaque for Bruce Reid  at the Phantom Trail which was a fabulous turn out for that. We have memberships now with Manitoba and Saskatchewan Trails and as a result of Sask Trails we are in their first inaugural edition of Sask Trails Explorer magazine."
