Operation Red Nose officially kicks off in  Flin Flon tonight and will get you and your vehicle home safely throughout the holiday season.

The Flin Flon Rotary Club’s Colleen Tower let’s us know how you can use the service.  " So what you do is call us at 204-687-7331 and we will arrange to send a team out to pick you up with your passengers. Just make sure that everybody has a seatbelt and know the person who will drive your vehicle,  and one of our other volunteers will have to have a seatbelt in your vehicle. They will pick you up in your vehicle with another person following from behind in their vehicle,  and when you reach your destination they pick up the driver and other volunteer out of your vehicle."

The hours are 9pm to 2am and if you are heading out to the lake areas please call before 1:30. The service is free but you can make a donation towards the Rotary Club if you wish. The volunteer groups this weekend include the Border  Explorers on Friday and on Saturday it is the Norman Wild Girls hockey team and U-15 hockey team.
