Manitoba Hydro Will Be Placing Automated Calls

Due to the interruption in postal service Manitoba Hydro customers who do not have an online account and normally receive a paper bill in the mail, will receive an automated phone call or text message from Manitoba Hydro to inform you that a new bill has been issued.

 

Information will also be provided on how to check your balance. For security reasons Manitoba Hydro will not share balances in automated messages to customers that do not have an online account.

 

Manitoba Hydro will not threaten to immediately disconnect power or demand payment over the phone and want to remind you that scammers will try just about anything to mislead customers on what they owe.

 

You can avoid scammers by talking to their customer service center at 1-888-624-9376 and you can set up an online account at hydro.mb.ca/signup.
