Resident will head to the polls today in Creighton and Denare Beach for the Municipal Elections.

 

There will be no voting  for Mayor as Bruce Fiddler has been elected by acclamation. There will be seven candidates running for six counsellor positions.

 

They include Neal Andrusiak, Courtney  Biberdorf, Kory Eastman, Darren Grant, Dan Hlady, Jennifer Johsgaard and Anita Rainville.

 

There will also be no voting for Mayor in Denare Beach as Carl Lentowicz has been elected by acclamation.

 

There are ten people running for 6 Councillor positions.

 

They include: Nicole Bayliss, Dale Holmgren, Jennifer Hysart, Jesse Madarash, Bruce Ritchie, Alannah Scott, Karen Thomson, Paul Trottier, Beverlee Wheeler and Frank Wiegers.

 

There are also 13 candidates running for four Creighton School Board positions including : Donna Ferguson Anaka, Tracy Andrusiak, Janet Clark, Amanda Gautier, Lisa Linnick, Meredith Norman, Joleen Rossington, Shannon Anaka, Crystal Banting, Melanie Durette, Lacy Hynes, Cari McLean and Wally Olson.

 

The polls will be open today in Creighton at the Creighton Town Office and the Denareplex in Denare Beach between 9am 8pm.
