Teen and Adult Challenge in Denare Beach held one of their biggest fundraisers of the year this past Thursday with their Fall Fundraising dinner at the Creighton Community Hall.

Kandie Lagore who is the Development Director was very happy with the turn out and the amount of money that was raised. "It was such a wonderful evening as we had about 150 people out,  and it was a great time with information, testimonies from a couple of our students and our Desert Dash game and auction. Including our Desert Dash  and auction we were able to take in $31,500.00 and after expenses we netted about $ 27,000.00.

There were people in attendance not only from this community but people from Split Lake, The Pas and Deschambault Lake. Teen Challenge want to thank all the volunteers, Koop Geotechnical, CFAR and all the table sponsors. With the proceeds that came in from the dinner , Teen Challenge will use towards their operating expenses and opening up a Thrift Store in the future.
