The Northern Neighbor’s Foundation which supports  charitable organizations and groups in the Flin Flon area  are encouraging residents to donate with Endow Manitoba.

Funds will be donated province wide and Barb Bragg explains how this will work. " From November the 12th to the 17th we have what is called the Giving Challenge which is happening right across Manitoba. It is to bring awareness to foundations and how they operate, but it is also an opportunity to stretch your dollars. If you make a donation through Endow Manitoba between the 12th and 17th , any five dollar donation you make will be matched two dollars from the Winnipeg foundation and Manitoba Government . Although you may be donating incriments of five dollars your getting that extra two dollars. So this really bumps up the principal amount that go's to the foundations."

You can donate by going to the Northern Neighbors Foundation website at northernneighbors.com or go to endow.mb.org. Your donation will then be filtered to the appropriate foundation.
