It is  Remembrance Day on Monday and the local branch number 73 in Flin Flon will be holding their Remembrance Day Banquet on Saturday and service on Monday.

Branch President Bob Penner has the details. " Penny Woloshin is looking after supper with cocktails at 5:30 on Saturday , the head table and guests will be paraded on at 6:30. There will be opening remarks from the Master of Ceremonies. We will go through supper then the presentation of Years Of Service Pins and 50 Year Service Medals. Monday we would like everybody to be in the Legion by 9:30 , we will leave 45 minutes later at around 10:15. We will march down Hapnot street to Fourth Ave, then to Hill street past the Cenotaph to up and around to the Community Hall."

You can still pick up tickets for the banquet which are $30.00 each and can be picked up at the Legion Lounge til  5pm today. The Remembrance Day Service will  be at the Flin Flon Community Hall on Monday starting at approximately 10:50am.
