The Christmas season is upon us and the Women’s Resource Centre will be hosting a fun event for the whole family on Saturday, their Christmas Craft and Home Show.

This is one of their biggest fundraisers of the year and Executive Director Madison McIntire looks forward to seeing the community there. " We will have around 30 different vendors at the craft show,  as well as a  Penny Parade, door prizes and 50/50 tickets will be sold and food and drinks will be sold. All of the proceeds of this event will go towards the operation of our Safe Haven , so this is one of the biggest fundraisers that we hold. So it is very important for us to raise money to  give back to the women and children that we  serve in our community."
