Just after 7:30 this morning Cranberry Portage RCMP as well as local emergency services were dispatched to the scene of a single vehicle accident that occurred on highway ten about 13 kilometers south of Cranberry Portage. Investigation revealed that a three ton truck was traveling north on highway ten, went out of control and rolled into the ditch. The driver a 20 year old man from Winkler died in the accident. His name will not be released.
The RCMP Traffic Collision Analyst assisted in the investigation.
The highway was re-opened around noon.
