The Learning Partnership is accepting nominations from across the country for the annual Canada’s Outstanding Principals Award.  Program Manager Jon Powell explains this is an award that recognizes the unique and crucial contributions of principals in publicly funded schools.  He says a nomination can be made by a parent, a colleague of the principal or by a member of the community who knows the principal in a particular school.

The deadline is October 28th with nomination forms on their website www.canadasoutstandingprincipals.ca.  Winners from across Canada are announced in mid January.
