Northland Ford is collecting donations on behalf of the local food bank with the We Scare Hunger campaign which is celebrating it’s tenth anniversary here in the community.
General Manager Alison Cooper tells us what items the food bank will be looking for. " A lot of the items are non perishables, so canned foods, veggies, cereals, pasta and something else they ask for is household items. It could be soap,paper towel,tooth paste , toilet paper and stuff like that you might not think of but you need on an every day basis. Things like that would be awesome and anything that can go a long way."
Local schools also help with collecting food and items for the food bank and the school that collects the most food and items win a pizza party courtesy of Northland Ford. You can also drop off donations at the dealership for the rest of the month and they will be setting up at te Bomber game on October the 25tf and the Creighton Kodiaks game on October the 17th.
