While Snow Lake RCMP continue to support Flin Flon and Cranberry Portage areas, as well as patrol along the roadways in between all three communities, officers responded to 38 calls in Snow Lake during September.

Among the calls included 17 traffic offenses, one coroner’s act for sudden death, one roadside suspension for alcohol, one person reported missing  but was later  found, two cases of fraud, one abandoned vehicle and many misdemeanor offenses. 

During this same time period, Flin Flon had 268 files and Cranberry Portage had 53. Of those files, over 12% were calls involving violence where bodily harm occurred and multiple resources were required.

Staffing levels continue to be a priority for the North Unit and recruiting efforts are continuing.
