The Flin Flon Aqua Centre Volunteer Committee held their first meeting of the fall and have some exciting new ways to raise money for the new pool as we hear more from the committee’s Karen MacKinnon.
" There is going to be a Senior's Challenge for people that are 65 plus that is going to run from October the 1st to June the 21st 2025. It is a local senior citizen who made a generous donation to the new pool and he has issued a challenge to seniors in the entire area to contribute to the new Aqua Center plan. He feels this is an opportunity for seniors to show their support for young people that they have interest in them and their ability to swim."
For a donation of $25.00 minimum you will receive a tax receipt and you name will be entered for three door prizes including the first annual pool pass for the new pool. More details will be released on the City Of Flin Flon facebook page and the draws will take place at Council Chambers on June the 3rd of 2025.
