Culture Days will officially kick off today with events happening all over the community including the Uptown Emporium, Creekside Park, Pioneer Square and the Norva Centre.
The Flin Flon Friendship Centre also have some special events planned as we hear more from the Friendship Centre Progam Coordinator Joe- Anne Pelletier.
" So this year the Friendship Centre is putting on an event for students called Whispers In The Wind. It is a Dream Catcher mobile with feathers and the seven teachings woven in. We are having the Silver Evening Star Singers coming to an opening performance. Margaret will be doing an opening prayer and also doing the Dream Catcher teaching. Kelleen Blouin is coming with Granny Willow coming to do the Seven Grandfather teaching and Loretta will do the Feather teaching."
They will be able to assemble a Dream Catcher Mobile with all these teachings. This will take place for students this Wednesday September the 25th at the Rotary Wheel with two sessions at 9:30 and 1pm.
