Author C.M. Klyne will visit the Flin Flon Public Library Tuesday afternoon. Administrator Cindy McLean says Klyne will be discussing his book The Silent March, a book that takes place in Winnipeg in 1919 and is a work of fiction but it is heavily laden with history. She says it talks about the famous committee of one thousand, the bloody Saturday, the Winnipeg general strike and the Spanish influenza in a really interesting book. She says he is a very interesting gentleman so they invite the general public to come out.
Klyne will be at the library from 3:30 to 5 Tuesday afternoon for a reading and question and answer session. Cake and coffee will be available.
