The FDC Tourism collaborative is going to be hosting a tourism networking and tradeshow event in Flin Flon in October.
The Regional Economic Development Officer Emily Roberts gives us the details on what will be taking place that night. " This event is made to encourage the public and some of our government partners as well as different community organizations to engage with our tourism industry and have that networking session. We find that a lot of people from around the area arn't always sure what options there are in the tourism realm or what there is to do and what they can recommend to their family and friends. This is an open invitation for everybody to attend and we are going to have a mini trade show set up with a bunch of different booths set up . We are also going to have a panel with tourism leaders and how they got started with their business's and how they have made it what it is today."
The event will take place at the Flin Flon Community Hall on Wednesday October the 2nd starting at 6. If you would like to set up a booth you can e-mail eroberts@flinflon.ca. The event is open to the public and is totally free.
