The Wahkohtowin Trails committee held their first meeting of the fall this past Tuesday at the Creighton Rec office.
Christine Williams tells us that things are progressing very well. " At our meeting on Tuesday night we had a great turn out and took some time to celebrate our success that we have had out at Phantom Lake. We noticed over the summer our trail has gotten a lot of use and we have seen a lot of pictures of people using it and a lot of positive feedback. We just recently were able to hang our big sponsor board on our trail head so that was pretty exciting. Right now the views are beautiful in the fall if you are looking to go for a hike. As a committee we are currently working on developing story boards to tell the history of Phantom Lake . We are looking for some sponsorships, so if you are interested in sponsoring a story board , it will cost $500.00 and you will get your name or logo displayed on a story board."
The trails committee are also going to have a chance to be part of an upcoming trade show coming up on October the 2nd from 6 to 8 at the Flin Flon Community Hall. This will be a chance to join their committee or just find out more information.
