Flin Flon and the surrounding area continues to experience smoke from various fires across Western Canada.

The City of Flin Flon has some recommendations on how you can reduce the effect of smoke.

Keep windows and doors closed,  use an air purifier, set your HVAC system to recirculate mode, window AC units should have the outdoor air intake damper closed, wear a mask and air out your home when the air clears; opening doors and windows will quickly remove air pollutants.
